Accessibility Statement
Access to information is a fundamental human right. I am committed to making my resources and web pages accessible to everyone who visits this site. I strive to ensure that this website conforms to level AA compliance of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 but acknowledge that I am not there yet.
I am currently auditing this site with WAVE, testing with VoiceOver and NVDA screen readers, and compiling a list of known issues with my plans to address them. Guiding my review are the international standards from the WC3’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, which describe accessible websites as:
-
Perceivable
-
Operable
-
Understandable
-
Robust
While I am learning from trainings through the International Association of Accessibility Professionals, Deque University, and the A11y community, I also subscribe to the disability rights mantra of “nothing about us without us” and are grateful for your input in improving accessibility. Please share any questions, issues, or suggestions with me via the form below or at access4everybody [at] gmail [dot] com.
